Subdued Winter
Posted by ilyana | Filed under Make-Up & Beauty

Went to the city today to check out the European paintings exhibit at the National Gallery of Victoria but I didn’t go in the end because I wasn’t feeling too well. Picasso and Monet will have to wait another day. I found out a couple of days ago that I wouldn’t be able to take Art History next year which is such a shame really because I love that subject (and not because my tutor happens to have one fine ass). It’s the only subject that bears the slightest resemblance to design- something I’m familiar with, having dabbled with it for the past 4 years. I’m kinda gutted about it but well, it’s not the end of the world so I’ll just stick to my random visits to the gallery for my art history fix (what a pity tho, my tutor was a total hunk and has a PhD in Art History which I find SO sexy).
I’ve been keeping my make-up really light the past month, I know make-up trends for fall and winter in the world of ~FASHIN~ often lean towards the intense but something about the dreary weather we’ve been having here just makes me want to rebel against the conventional sooty smokey eyes and dark lipstick. I love a good smokey eye but I love the warm brilliance of the sun more. Pink lips and soft hues of taupe & gold in the middle of a somber winter? I am so there.
Face:
MAC Studio Fix foundation in NC25
MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NC25
Cheeks:
Rock & Republic’s Contrived Pressed blush in Kinky
Eyes:
MAC paintpot in Rubenesque as a base
MAC eyeshadow in Woodwinked
MAC pigment in Blonde’s Gold
MAC eyeshadow in Shroom as highlight
Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Honey
Maybelline gel liner in Black
MAC Browset in Girl Boy
Majolica Majorca Lash Expander NEO
Lips:
Lancome L’absolu Rouge in Rose Rhapsodie
I’m loving the gold eyeliner in this one, I think it’s a nice bright change from the smudgy black lined eyes I tend to go for. Finally got to try out the Rock & Republic blush Cat sent me for my birthday and as I suspected, this baby has enough pigment to fill 5 MAC lipstick vials. I had to be very careful with this blush because it’s easy to OD on blush when you’re pale like me. I swiped my brush over the blush with the lightest pressure possible and it was enough to create a delicate flush of pink. I love the blush, Cat! Thank you so much <3
Btw, you only see one side of my face here because I have a pimple on the other cheek LOL. I know it's become socially acceptable to pretend that you have the body of a porn star with perfect skin but I just don't like the idea of retouching my photos to death. You can still see I have pores in my photos and my forehead has tiny marks - battle scars from previous hand to hand combat experiences with pimples (those bastards!).
I have a couple of beauty reviews coming up this week and in true tea noir style, they're going to be squashed together in one single entry lol. I'm also thinking of doing a photography/camera entry too because I've been getting so many questions pertaining to the camera I use for this blog etc - is there anything you would like to know about photography? If you're too shy to ask in the comments, ask on my formspring where your identity and soul remains safe from me. Even if you don’t have a photography related question, ask me anything anyway!

tea noir’s 1st birthday/anniversary: MY MAKE-UP STASH
Posted by ilyana | Filed under Make-Up & Beauty
SUPER IMAGE HEAVY FANTASTICAL MAKE-UP ENTRY AHEAD.
So today I finally packed 90% of my make-up into little bubblewrapped, oddly-shaped bundles but before that, I thought it would be fun to photograph my whole stash to see just how much crap I’ve accumulated over the years and zomg wtf if you thought the shoes post was epic….

This picture in itself is a self-proclaimation that I am a true MAC whore. I have 17 MAC eyeshadows…how. on. earth. did I manage to collect 17 EYESHADOWS?!?! This is crazy lol! I had no idea I had THAT many.
1st row (starting with the dark purple shade) L to R: Nocturnelle, Flashtrack, Carbon
2nd row: Idol Eyes, Smoke & Diamonds, Tilt, Talent Pool
3rd row: Swimming, Mink & Sable, Fiction (omg my first eyeshadow ever! sadly discontinued), Club
4th row: Shroom (this is a really good highlighter!), Woodwinked, Amber Lights, Twinks

My mineral eyeshadows from MAC. L to R: Brightside/Gallery Gal, Ether (such a beautiful pool of blues and teal) and er forgot the name of this one.

My pathetic collection of palettes lol, I don’t know why but palettes don’t appeal to me much as opposed to single eyeshadow pots >_>
L to R: Mac Authentics Face Palette (I got this on sale for $25 and have never used it because I’ve dreamt about bringing this when I travel to some far flung place in Europe with a lover…but that ain’t happening anytime soon so..) and the Majolica Majorca Trick On Palette in GR750.

MAC pigments! As you can see I like my neutrals and greens a lot lol. L to R: Kitschmas, Blonde’s Gold (love love loveeee), Goldstroke, Copperized (gorgeous color, this one- a dirty olive green with a slight brown tone), Antique Green and Teal.

Misc pigments from assorted brands and samples I got from Catherine! Oh and a mini MAC Melon pigment too.

My eyeshadow bases. L to R: MAC paintpot in Delft, MAC paintpot in Rubenesque and Shu Uemura Cream eyeshadow in Suou. I’m no longer a paintpot fan, they’re great in the first month or so and then they just dry up on you -__-

Evidently, I’m really really into lipsticks lol. MAC lipsticks L to R: Myself, Sweetie, O, Lightly Ripe, Mellow Mood (fave to-go lipstick!), Cosmo (awesome dark pink shade <3)

NYX lipsticks, some of them were given to me by Mel. I’ve done a swatch post on some of the old ones I bought, you can read about them here.
1st row L to R: Topaz, Perfect, Doll, Indian Pink
2nd row L to R: Aphrodite, B52, Thalia

And er more lippies lol? My high-end lipsticks with an odd Rimmel one - L to R: Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited BG942, Rimmel London lipstick (can’t remember the name sorry), YSL Rouge Volupté in Pink Fetish, YSL Rouge Volupté in Tender Peach, Dior Addict High Shine in Beige-a-porter, Dior Addict High Color in Charmed Pink.

My OCC lip tars and my really small collection of lipglosses. I wish I could love lipgloss as much as the next girl but I really like my lips to be kinda creamy-matte as opposed to super shiny. Liptars are supremely awesome though, they’re very creamy - almost like a thickened liquid lipstick.
L to R: OCC liptar in Pageant, OCC liptar in Grandma, OCC liptar in Indashio, MAC lipglass in Liquer, MAC x Hello Kitty lipglass in She Loves Candy, MAC lipglass in Glamour For All, MAC Dazzleglass in Rags to Riches, MAC Dazzleglass in ….I cannot for the life of me remember.

Cheeks! I’m usually too lazy to contour my cheekbones but when I do I like using my MAC mineralize skinfinish in Shooting Star. It is a bronzey, gold veined dream and it deserves a lot more love from me but sry2say I’m just not bothered to contour lol. I mean I usually spend a lot of time on my eyes so by the time I’m done with the eye make-up, I’m running late lol so I can’t afford to slowly buff in a bronzer into the skin, apply blush, highlight etc.
1st row L to R: MAC MSF in Shooting Star, MAC highlight powder in Mellow Rave (I know it says highlight but it’s really more of a bronzer for me, really like this one too - beautiful mid-toned reddish brown), MAC blush in Trace Gold.
2nd row L to R: MAC Grand Duos blush in Moon River (still can’t get over how pretty this is), MAC mineralize blush in Merrily (hate this so much, I cannot remember why I bought it -_-)

Aah you guys can finally see my fave blush of all time - Nectar Peach by La Femme Cosmetics. This is a no frills matte peach shade and honestly it looks kinda meh in the pan but it is just exquisite on my skin.
L to R: La Femme blush in Nectar Peach, NARS Sin (I recommended this pinky-berry shade to Cat and she is loving it so far ;D), NARS Angelika

Everyday Mineral blushes from back when I was totally into mineral make-up.
First row L to R: Once & Again, Time Share
2nd row L to R: Snuggle (I find myself reaching for this one a lot), Theme Park (A damn good NARS Orgasm dupe)

Foundation and concealers. I generally use the same stuff because they work well for me so I don’t hoard foundation etc like some people do (wish I could say the same about eyeshadows and lipsticks rofl)
L to R: MAC Mineralize Satinfinish SPF 15 foundation, Dr Jart Black Detox Healing BB Cream (I like using this one when I’m in a hurry), MAC Studio Fix Powder + Foundation, Bobbi Brown Bobbi Brown Corrector in Peach, MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 concealer, MAC Prep + Prime Face Protect SPF 50 (this primer is awesome!)
Sorry I missed out on a couple of product names, I have no way of checking them since they’re all mostly wrapped up and ready to fly. You guys should have seen me pack my make-up lol, I was just shaking my head in disbelief as I took everything out from the multi-tiered plastic boxes I keep my make-up in. I never imagined it to be THIS epic but well, I know of people who have a ton more than I do! I got to admit though it’s a good sizeable collection that would last me centuries lol. I still have a couple more I didn’t show here, basically some stuff I recently got so I’ll be featuring that in another entry.
Yesterday was tea noir’s first birthday/anniversary! Omg it’s been a crazy year! I wanted to post this entry yesterday actually but er I kinda fell asleep halfway. I’ve just been really, really tired lately - packing is owning my soul this week and I cannot wait to be done with it =_=
A lil shout-out to Sue/jademasquerade: Thank you for the lunch treat yesterday! I wish we could have met sooner but I had so much fun nonetheless. I’m sorry I was a total klutz wtf, what a way to impress someone lol ._. Hope to see you in Melbourne soon! <333
Andddd a little site update: I finally installed the wordpress plugin that allows me to reply directly to comments as tested out in the comments at the bottom here. I always, always reply back to comments but this just makes it prettier to look at haha so check back to read my replies to your comments ;D

Handle with care!
Posted by ilyana | Filed under Bodycare, Make-Up & Beauty
Last night I was got back home a little later than usual due to a hold-up at work, I was really tired - I had the flu, my nose was leaking like crazy (you have no idea how close I was to stuffing a tampon up my nose….not that you needed to know that but hey I’m trying to keep it real and funny here ya know?) and all I wanted to do was pop a couple of pills and sleep.
Then I noticed the box.

OMG MY SWAP PACKAGE FROM CATHERINE IS FINALLY HEREEEEEEEEEEE! I did a lil’ SQUEEE! and danced around the living room, totally forgetting that my parents were there and giving me weird looks. Uh, right. Sorry mom I know my 20 second ~IMMA BE JLO~ dance routine last night was painful to watch but despite the odds, I’m still your daughter k. Promise.
What’s weird is the box Catherine sent me only had our names and no addresses! I guess technology has become so advanced that you no longer have to write addresses on mail anymore…or maybe my Photoshop skills are so kick-ass and hot like fire that I managed to get rid of our addresses to prevent scary stalkers XD
A little back story on how the swap came about: Cat reviewed the MAC 5 Haute High Jinks Warm Pigment/Glitter Set and I commented on the post asking if she’s tried MAC’s pigment in Blonde’s Gold (gorgeous light yellow-gold color btw) because it’s one of my favourites. Turns out she hadn’t so I offered to send her a sample and cut to the chase, that somehow turned into a full blown international swap lol.

I was telling Cat how I had all these annoying bumps on my t-zone from time to time and I had absolutely no idea how to get rid of them. I think they’re a lot worse than pimples because although pimples are icky, they go away after a few days but these bumps just STAY THERE. What is the point srsly? They’re not even paying rent so they gotta go go go.
Cat recommended using a concoction of jojoba oil + squalane as a moisturizer to help declog the pores so she got me a bottle each plus a small vial of lavender oil to add into mixture. She’s also written a couple of blog entries pertaining to the wonders of jojoba oil and how they can help with acne, read about them here.

I also asked her to get me Weleda’s Skin Food because this multipurpose tube of moisturizer has been getting raves on Makeupalley, everyone’s proclaiming it to be the next best thing since Lady GaGa. It supposedly addresses many concerns like dryness, redness etc and you can use it on your face + body so I thought it would come in handy during winter in Melbourne.

NAIL POLISHES! L to R: China Glaze Stella, OPI Smitten with Mittens, OPI Merry Midnight. I asked Cat to get me some OPI, particularly Smitten with Mittens which was part of their 2009 holiday collection. She also talked me into getting another polish from the same collection - Merry Midnight and HOLY CRAP it’s an amazing shade of purple! She was kind enough to include so many extras for me including THREE other nail polishes, one of them being China Glaze’s Stella which an outer worldly shade of warm purple, gorgeousss.

Dude. I completely flipped out when I saw that Cat got me the infamous Essie Mint Candy Apple which is a great dupe of Chanel’s “Jade” nail polish. I love it so much omg, thank you, thank you! The funny thing is she also included a bottle of Essie’s Love, Beverly Hills xx, which is another color I’ve been curious about (it’s got 24k gold in it!) How the heck did you read my mind girl??

See the beautiful shimmery pool of gold in the red base? Can’t wait to try this one out!

Stella is a very unique purple, I think it should have been renamed Stellar lol because it’s just so alien-pretty…if that makes any sense (sorry it’s 11pm, I’m sick and I’m sleepy)

Smitten with Mittens is a classic red with gold glitter! You might think it’s similar to Love, Beverly Hills xx but that’s got more of a metallic finish compared to Smitten with Mittens.

I cannot get over how AWESOME Merry Midnight is! It’s a very deep purple with lots of blue-red glitter and flakes! If witches celebrated Christmas, this would be their nail polish of choice lmao. Oh and I’ve got Essie’s Mint Candy Apple on my nails in this photo ;D

I wanted a replacement for my MAC paintpots before they completely dry up on me so I now have the L’Oreal HIP cream shadow paint in 807 Secretive which is a very light neutral color that can be used alone or as a base for eyeshadow. I love how it comes with its own brush too!

Sweet Sienna’s a MAC LE pigment that came out 2 years ago and it is what I would classify as “The one that got away”. I can’t remember why I didn’t buy it but I’ve always regretted not getting the pigment. It’s a dirty brown with silver/grey pearl, I think there’s nothing like it. Cat actually received a large sample of Sweet Sienna in a separate swap and she kindly gave me a portion for me to try <3 <3 <3

LOL I’M NOT DONE YET. She also included another MAC pigment sample, Sunnydaze which is a stunning almost brown taupe shade! You’re so right Cat, I don’t have this at all lol! My pigment collection’s mostly golds and greens ;D
Thank you so much Cat!!! I love everything you sent, you’re my first official cosmetics swap ever and I had such a great time emailing/chatting with you on msn! I think we got to know each other a lot better since the swap so cheers to a blossoming friendship <3333 If you're curious to see what I sent Cat from my end, you can read about it here!
This post is seriously lacking in swatches, I know and I apologise. I couldn’t stay out in the sun for a long period of time today because this flu is just killin’ my fun and I had to take a day’s off from work :/ My voice is so hoarse and raspy now, I almost sound like Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. I hear he’s quit the band so guys, if you’re still looking for a replacement I’m willing to take the job but I should probably let you all know in advance that the only Aerosmith song I know is “Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing” from that Armageddon movie LOL

MAC Style Black mini haul + thermal mask review
Posted by ilyana | Filed under Make-Up & Beauty
Today I bring goodies from MAC’s Style Black collection which was released barely a month ago in Singapore. It’s a little late I know but I just received my new babies in the mail yesterday because I ordered them online via Nordstrom.
I think Style Black is a collection every MAC fan girl just died over; sooty black eyeshadows amped up by a variety of colored shimmer, creamy black lipstick and shimmery black dazzleglasses, black color bases for the face and eyes, vampy nail polishes that even made me, a girl who was never really into nail polishes, sigh in longing. You can read more about the collection here.
Now I don’t want to mislead you any further into thinking “OMG ILYANA PROLLY BOUGHT THE WHOLE COLLECTION IT’S JUZ WHAT SHE WOULD DO!” because I DIDN’T get ANY make-up at all. I know, I know, it’s a little hard to believe a make-up whore like me would skip out on the Style Black collection.
I’ll relinquish the fact that I was very, very tempted by the dazzleglass and the shadestick BUT I’ve come to the point where I think my current make-up collection is sufficient enough for me (read: I have wayyy too much and probably won’t have any more space for new ones lol)
So you must be wondering “WHAT THE HELL DID CHU SPEND ON GIRRLLL? STOP WASTIN’ MAH TIME TYVM”

I got MAC Style Black’s repromoted limited edition skincare: the infamous Volcanic Ash Exfoliator and the Volcanic Ash Thermal Mask which absurdly isn’t available in the Singapore MAC counters (apparently there isn’t a “market” here, ridiculous!)
Before I start talking about what I got, let’s have a look at what my homegirl Nadz got! (We ordered together to save costs ;D)

MAC Style Black mineralize eyeshadow in “Gilt by Association” DAYUM RIGHT IT’S HOT. I spotted this first after opening the box I got in the mail, went “OMFG!!!!!!” and screamed in jealousy. IT IS SO STUNNING.

LOOK AT THAT! I’m just stabbing myself right now for not getting any eyeshadows from the collection. I was describing to Nadz on the phone that it looked like a effing dark galaxy with tiny gold stars…ok that was lame - REWRITE!
Gilt by Association: A dark galaxy, a midnight abyss with numerous chunky bronze-gold stars swirled around, glinting with a pearlescent lustre in the darkness.
..I can’t take myself seriously sometimes HAHAHAHA! Anyway please thank Nadz for allowing me to open up her eyeshadow, otherwise these photos won’t be here for your enjoyment ;D Thank youu bbcakes for having so much trust in me ♥
K back to MY stuff now!

‘Twas make-up destiny.
Posted by ilyana | Filed under Make-Up & Beauty

Do you believe in make-up destiny? This might sound a little cheesy…
I believe if you were meant to get something and somehow in the process of getting that particular item , you come across many difficulties..things don’t go as planned and you are actually led to believe you’ve lost all hope - well if you were truly meant for it, it will come to you in a different way or form.
…Wow that’s so deep coming from me LOL- alright class, that’s the end of today’s Ilyana’s Shopping Philosophy session.
The MAC Starflash collection came out late last year and together with the new eyeshadows that came with it, were the Kohl Power eye pencils which were being repromoted, Raven (a reddish brown), Orpheus (straight up black with gold) and Mystery (blackened teal).
Now being a green eye make-up swamp thing, I was immediately attracted to Mystery and all its mystery (wow you are really starting to sound real cheesy there, ilyana) but something in me went for Orpheus in the end and as much as I wanted to get Mystery and all its ~mystery~ (yes ilyana, we get it now shut up already, geez), i had already purchased 4 items from the Starflash collection so it would probably give my imaginary accountant a headache if I spent another $28 on some green kohl eyeliner even if it was aptly named, ya know ~MYSTERY~
HAHAHAHAHA..ok *clears throat*
So after many months of thinking about the one that got away, one of my livejournal friends posted up a make-up sales post on her blog to fund for her vacation and well you have probably guessed it by now - she had a brand new Mystery Khol Power pencil selling for $15…just like a page out of a make-up whore fairy tale.
There’s no denying it, IT’S DESTINY.
On to the photos.

Oh and I recently purchased these from the drugstore yesterday. I never really got into the whole nose pore pack thingum because I read somewhere that they don’t really work? Well I got this Biore White Grape ones out of pure impulse and I can’t really comment on whether they work for me yet but they do smell so so nice!
I kinda messed up with my previous tube of lip balm (don’t ask, it’s slightly embarassing) so I finally got a new tube! It’s the only lip balm that seems to work for me.

Lyk omg, first make-up tutorialz
Posted by ilyana | Filed under Make-Up & Beauty
I’ve been feeling guilty lately because I’ve not really been posting a lot of beauty-related entries so here’s a fairly simple make-up tutorial to compensate that lol. I apologise for the poor images, the light in my bathroom wasn’t working properly so the pictures aren’t really as clear as day. Here’s what we’re going to achieve today:

Today’s look would be a neutral eye look with some dramatic lips, great for everyday, yet simple and fast enough for OH SHIT I WOKE UP LATE BUT STILL WANNA LOOK HOT mornings. I’ve listed what I used in the photo below but please take note that the Rubenesque paintpot i used isn’t in the photo because I seem to have misplaced the damn thing lol.

You don’t have to use the exact same products I’ve used of course. You mainly need a gold shimmery eye color, some bronze pigment, eyeliner, mascara and a lovely rich dramatic matte lipstick in a color of your choice. It’s really about what colors you’re comfortable with and what you think will look good on you. My instructions are here just to inspire you into creating your own individual look.

Here’s a close up shot of the pigments I used. As mentioned, you don’t have to use the exact same products I used. If you’ve got similar colors, use them instead!

Ewww my eyes with no concealer and foundation. I have pretty dark under eye circles so MAC studio finish concealer is the way to go.

Much better. We’re all set and ready to rock them eye make-up.

So first, I applied MAC Rubenesque paintpot on my eyelids, past the crease, as a base for the eye make-up. It’ll make sure my make-up won’t budge and the peachy-gold shade Rubenesque comes in makes it a great add-on for the bronzy gold look I’m doing.

Then apply Pure Luxe pigment in Chocomint (a gorgeous mid brown shade with green-gold reflects) onto the lids, past the crease.

Not so hot…but don’t despair! We’re not quite done yet lol. Take the Shroom eyeshadow or any other pale shimmery off-white color you have and apply it to your browbone as a highlight, blending it into the Chocomint pigment.

Almost there, people!

This is where I realised I was going to be late for work if I didn’t finish up quickly. I lined my upper and lower lids with Clinique cream shaper for eyes in Egyptian (gorgeous, gorgeous deep khaki with gold shimmer) and soften the eyeliner on the bottom with some Museum bronze pigment loaded on an eyeliner brush for a touch of smoke~

Grab a fluffy brush and put on some blush! Mellow rave is a matte rose brown shade and top it all off with a dramatic nude color, my pick today would be NYX round lipstick in Doll. And you’re all set!
I hope you’ve enjoyed my first ever tutorial, it’s fairly easy I believe- even for beginners. The next look I’m doing would be perhaps be slightly more difficult, we’ll see. Got a question, a suggestion? Comment!
Disclaimer: I am not a professional make-up artist and don’t claim to be. My techniques may be different from a professional but they work for me. Make-up is all about playing with colors and there are no real set of rules in the make-up world, you just go along with what works for you. I am entitled to my own opinions as much as you are entitled to yours.

A thought on blushes + MAC grand duos collection.
Posted by ilyana | Filed under Make-Up & Beauty
I’ve been a little obsessed with blushes lately. I know most people just stop at having one blush shade or god forbid, no blushes in their make-up collection at all! I believe that blush is an essential make-up item and having more than just one shade of blush lets you pull off a variety of looks. Say you have some pretty natural eye make-up on and using a slightly darker blush (applied with a light hand, of course) would give you a more dramatic look. Using a light pink blush, however, would enhance your natural eye make-up and give you an everyday flush. It’s sexy either way.
Most people use bronzers to contour their cheekbones but most bronzers nowadays are pretty shimmery so if you’re not careful you could end up like a glitter tranny mess. Definitely not hot. Another alternative is to go to the make-up counters at your mall and pick the scariest shade of blush there….which would most likely be either
a dark burgundy red or a dark chocolate brown. Please don’t get the red one, nobody contours with red…unless of course it’s for a macabre costume party. The chocolate brown shade would be perfect for contouring but of course it all depends on your skintone.
MAC is coming up with a limited edition collection of blushes due to be released in March in the US. I FRICKING CAN’T WAIT FOR IT. Everyone knows MAC is pretty famous for their Mineralize Skinfinish (MSF), multicolored minerals individually baked onto a pan in a kiln in Italy - sooo hardcore. They can be used for many things, as a highlight, blush whatever - they just rock. MAC’s out to get my money next month when they release these dual blushes - half of a blush pot with straight up shimmery color and the other half has got a similar MSF to match the blush. Mix them up or use them separately, enjoy the pictures but remember, nothing beats looking at the actual products themselves.
MSF Blush Duos - (LE) $22.50USD
* Moon River - Blue pink mélange / Pale yellow pink
* Love Rock - Gold violet mélange / Bright blue pink
* Grand Duo - Copper pink mélange / Plum
* Light over Dark - Orange yellow mélange / Deep brown
* Earth to Earth - Purple bronze mélange / Yellow brown
* Hot Planet - Copper yellow mélange / Mid-tone plum
* Intenso - Orange yellow mélange / Deep brown

L-R: Hot Planet, Light Over Dark

L-R: Grand Duo (such a gorgeous berry blush!), Intenso (NARS orgasm much?)

L-R: Love Rock, Moon River (I NEED this!)

Earth to Earth (The MSF side really does look Earth no?)
I am all over Moon River! Such an uncommon color, the six year old in me loves it because of it’s almost rainbow-like spectrum of colors…..kinda like the Paddlepop rainbow ice cream LOL. So tell me, which shades are you guys just loving?
