I SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST.

If you’re following me on twitter, you would probably know that about 2 weeks ago, I was tweeting about going dirt broke because I bought something ridiculously expensive and that I prolly had to eat soba for the rest of my life.
I didn’t tell anyone what I bought (save for my BFFs) and purposely kept it a secret because I didn’t exactly “purchase” it myself and I didn’t want to jinx anything because I didn’t receive it until yesterday.
OH YES I DID!
This baby was purchased for me straight from MILAN by the lovely, gorgeous Hid. She contacted me, telling me she was in Milan and asked if I wanted anything from PRADA because it is seriously so much cheaper over there! She even offered to pay for it first, such a sweetheart!
Anyway I have been wanting this for the LONGEST time. I saw it at the DFS Galleria here in Singapore and proclaimed it the keeper of my heart. I won’t get into the little details because I’m pretty sure everyone wants me to shut up and let the photos do the talking.
When Hid passed me the PRADA paper bag (which if you realised, has a slightly different logo emblazoned at the front - something only the stores in Milan have), that was seriously IT. Peering into the bag, you see this gorgeous midnight navy textured box with ribbons of the same shade wrapped carefully around it to secure the lid - IT moment #2 rait thar bb.
I’ve always wondered why so many women are brand addicts and omg I GET IT NOW LADIES. The attention to detail, packaging, EVERYTHING is just astonishing! You cannot help but be drawn into the whole brand.
Presenting the PRADA Saffiano Metal Oro Continental Wallet in Gold, my new boyfriend. He’s so shiny and oh my god the calfskin leather…..so lush. The camera couldn’t really capture the color properly in this shot because it practically GLEAMS/bounces light off at every angle lol!

What I love most about this wallet is its unique almost watercolor paper-like stamped texture. I’ve been using regular sized wallets (you know the ones which fit snugly into the pockets of your jeans!) all my life so I wanted to switch things up by purchasing a long wallet.

The navy ribbons I was talking about earlier. I tried to re-tie the ribbons around the box but er it was a failed attempt so I’m just going to show you what the ribbons look like, eep!
I’M SO DELIRIOUSLY HAPPY AND SUPER BROKE LOL. I’ve been wanting this damn wallet for a whole year but never managed to buy it in Singapore because it was out of my price range (and since it’s part of PRADA’s classic line, it will never go on sale). A lot of high fashion labels here are marked up higher than their European prices so if you want to get your LV, CHANEL, PRADA etc - best to get it in Europe because I saved about $200 when Hid bought this for me in Milan.

Anyway I never realised just how many people read/love this blog until I went on the hiatus and suddenly strangers/friends are telling me on twitter that they love tea noir and that they miss reading my entries! I’m just in awe, thank you so much for reading. If this means I’m pressured to update more often THEN SO BE IT LOL!

Then taking out the box…..
Then untying the ribbon thats ard the box…..
Then opening the box…..
Then unwrapping the paper that conceals ur precious (im sorry i robbed u of this part of the experience!)
Then voila…finally… the lovely, precious, darling piece of luxury that u’ve been lusting over on the net, or from the display windows from afar, or maybe the piece that u got immediately after setting ur eyes on it……….Experience ante is up-ed by 27854175478x if box is black with white words imprinted on it cos then u’ll have to remove the white cammelias that they stick to the ribbons too (and boy do they have alot of those- i counted 4 on just one GST)…
Aaaaahhhhhhhh…. just typing it out makes me itch to do it all over again. Its an obsession. A swwet sweet one at that… well at least before the c/card bill comes…
